- First, extract the archive contents to any folder. It is recommended to re-name the application once extracted.
- Next, run the FollowBot application and login with your forum details. Once logged in you should see a similar profile selection screen:
Profiles
- This is where you select the FollowBot profile you wish to load. Before loading a profile for the first time is it recommended to read through the info of each profile and pick a profile that best matches the character you are using for FollowBot. You can also create you own custom profiles.
*Please note: in order for FollowBot to function properly you need to ensure your in-game keybinds match the inputs your FollowBot profile is using. IE: if your FollowBot profile uses 'Q' for a movement skill and '3' for Quicksilver Flask, you need to make sure your in-game move skill is on 'Q' and Quicksilver Flask is on '3'. Default profiles can also be customized to perfectly match your character. - If you wish to re-load a default profile, overwrite the 'Profiles' folder in your FollowBot directory with the 'Profiles' folder from the archive file you downloaded earlier, then close and re-open the FollowBot app.
- You can create as many profiles as you want and they can be shared with other members on this forum.
- If you wish to share or need help with a profile, go to your 'Profiles' folder and open the .txt associated with the profile, copy the config inside, and paste within [code][/code] tags in a post.
- Once you've selected a profile, login to Path of Exile then press the load button on the FollowBot app:
- The app can run multiple FollowBot profiles & characters on a single machine. When more that one instance of Path of Exile is detected it will ask you to drag a target over the instance you are trying to load into:
- Once loaded, invite all members into a party. *Please note: by default FollowBot will always follow the Party Leader. This can be changed in the profile settings to follow by character name instead.
- To activate the FollowBot, Press 'INSERT'. Depending on your profile settings the bot will not start following until the Leader moves. To pause the bot from following, press 'DELETE' (this is useful in many situations, ie. selecting passives, moving inventories, etc.).
- To unload FollowBot, Press 'END'. This is necessary if you wish to make changes to your currently loaded profile. You do not need to restart Path of Exile to unload and reload profiles.
If you could not successfully get FollowBot working try the following:
- Restart your computer.
- Run FollowBot as Administrator.
- Disable Anti-Virus software & Windows Defender.
- Clear the follow character by name setting in profile settings.
- Try opening Path of Exile & join a party before pressing Load in the FollowBot app.
- Read the FAQ & contact support if you are still experiencing issues.
- Mouse Without Borders (link: ) is a great way to control multiple devices at your location. Otherwise a remote control software like AnyDesk can be used.
- FollowBot can be used to control multiple instances of Path of Exile on a single computer, but it is probably safer to setup a Virtual-Machine and even a VPN on the machine that is running the instances.
- Because of how cluttered looting can get in this game, LootBot is designed to work off of an UBER PLUS STRICT filter. It is highly recommended to remove all items base types, synthesis, fractured, & uniques from the filter and mostly keep 1x1 valuables; otherwise your inventory will fill up very quickly.

- For LootBot to function properly the following in-game settings MUST be set:
- Hide Filtered Ground Items - CHECKED
- Key Pickup - Use Bound Key (F)
- Display of filtered items must of OFF!! By default use 'Z'.
