The chances of getting banned is very low but it is always a risk when using botting software. There are things you can do to lower the chances even further like never running the software or logging into your botting accounts from the machine your main account is on. If you don't have access to multiple machines you can also run the bot from inside a Virtual Machine or follow the steps in this thread to run another instance as a limited user:



Another thing you can do is make sure the other accounts you are using followbot on are connected though a VPN so your other instances of POE have a different IP then you are using for your main account. Then should the bot ever get detected only the botting accounts you use would get banned and not your main account if you set it up right.

The risk of being banned would be for the accounts running the botting software, not your main account (unless you use your main account as a FollowBot). Renner listed some great added precautions to keep the software completely unlinked to the software of you are extra cautious. But none of this should be a problem.
